Nicole Carbone returns for her sixth season as a member of the women's soccer staff in 2026. Carbone played for four seasons for the Red Hawks and was a member of the 2021 (Spring) NJAC Championship Team.
Carbone, working mainly with the goalkeepers, helped guide Salange Bell to back-to-back NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year awards, the first time in program history in which a Red Hawk has achieved that mark in consecutive seasons. At the end of the regular season, allowed just 10 goals through 17 games, tallying nine shutouts and allowing five or fewer shots in 13 of their 17 contests.
She was part of the staff that won 2025 NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year, as the Red Hawks posted a 12-0-5 mark during the regular season, the fourth time in program history that it finished unbeaten in league play. After clinching both the NJAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, Montclair went into the NCAA Tournament riding a 17-game undefeated stretch, its longest since Sullivan's playing career. The Red Hawks placed eight on the All-NJAC teams and took five of the six NJAC Major Awards.
