A former standout Red Hawk player, Marlon Pollard begins his 24th season as an assistant coach with the Red Hawks.
Over the past six seasons, Pollard has been part of the staff that has clinched four NJAC Regular Season Championships along with an NJAC Tournament Championship in 2023. The team has reached the NCAA Tournament twice during that stretch, earning three victories during that span and reaching the Sweet 16 in 2023. Pollard was also part of the staff that guided Amer Lukovic to become the United Soccer Coaches Association National Player of the Year during the 2023 campaign.
A four-year letterwinner, Pollard was an All-NJAC, All-Region and All-America selection during his playing career as well as the Montclair State Senior Athlete of the Year in 1999. In his career, Pollard scored 20 goals and added 24 assists for 64 points. He ranks among the Top 15 all-time in points and assists and was inducted into the Montclair State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
